At Ivanhoe we offer a wide variety of opportunities to play bowls.  Different activities available to suit players of all ages, abilities and interests.

Competitive social bowls

We offer a regular program for social bowls in summer and winter.  This program provides you with the opportunity to play competitive social bowls with players from Ivanhoe and from other clubs.  Prizes are offered for the winners, runners up and best played game of the day.  For more information about these games click here.

New to bowls?

If you are new to bowls click here to look at the introductory video about bowls.  We offer free coaching to all bowlers.  We have a development program to ensure that you get enjoyment from the sport.

Barefoot bowls

Barefoot bowls is likely to have been your first introduction to bowls.  Play Barefoot Bowls at Ivanhoe as part of your function at the club.  Organise a group of  friends, family or corporate group and come along and to have fun.

Pennant

Bowls Victoria runs a statewide bowls competition. The Pennant season runs from early October until March when the finals are held. Ivanhoe registered clubs and players can  participate in this competition.  We sort out all of the paperwork when you become a member.

This season the Ivanhoe Bowling Club has entered four sides in the Saturday competition, and three sides in the mid week competition. The Club participates in the Tuesday Night Pennant Competition commencing  in October.  For more details about pennant follow this link.
