New Life Members 2022

Two nominations for Life Membership were approved and presented at the club’s AGM in May 2022.  The new life members are Warrick Carbis and Jim Gray.

John Mehan as club chairperson  presented a summary of their achievements to members.

Warrick Carbis has been a member of the club for 26 years.  He has been a Board member for six years during which time he has been the Director of Property and Facilities. Warrick was also on the RVBA Section Committee for 3 years.   He has contributed to the running of the club bowls as an umpire for 18 years and a selector for 3 years.  Warrick is a tireless contributor to our Club and  I am pleased to announce his life membership.

Jim Gray has been a club member for 18 years.  He has undertaken the role of Greens Manager for 13 years where he has liaised well with our greens keeper and provided an role in managing the green from a club perspective.  In addition has been the Garden Coordinator for 14 years.  Also Jim has contributed to the running of club bowls as a pennant selector for 4 years.  He picked up the role as Bunnings Coordinator 7 years organising fund raising barbecues at Bunnings on a monthly basis.  Jim is a tireless contributor to our Club and  I am pleased to announce his life membership.
