Get on a roll with Bubs

Babies are on board with lawn bowls under a Mums and Bubs on the green initiative at Ivanhoe Bowls Club. The new program, a partnerships between Bowls Victoria and Vic Health, aims to get new mums out of the house and onto the green.

Bowls Victoria female participation manager Neil Gray said that it provides a safe and comfortable environment for new mums to meet others, enjoy a gentle game of bowls and a coffee.  It’s about getting mums active again in a low impact activity. It doesn’t matter whether the participants are newcomers to the game or more experienced.
